Beastmilk was a Finnish post-punk band renowned for their dark, atmospheric sound that blended elements of gothic rock, deathrock, and cold wave. Formed in Helsinki in 2010, the group originally consisted of Kvohst (Mat McNerney) on vocals, Goatspeed (Mikko Mäki) on guitar, Arino (Mikko Pöyhönen) on bass, and Paile (Joonas Pykälä-aho) on drums. Their music drew comparisons to the haunting intensity of Joy Division and the raw edge of early Bauhaus, captivating audiences with their brooding yet energetic compositions.
