Close Your Eyes is a dynamic post-hardcore band formed in 2005 in Abilene, Texas. Known for their passionate and melodic approach to hardcore music, the group initially came together when Shane Raymond (vocals) and Brett Callaway (guitar) began assembling the lineup, soon joined by Sonny Vega (bass), Andrew Rodriguez (guitar), and David Fidler (drums). Over the years, their lineup evolved, and the band has included members like Bobby Valeu (guitar) and Jordan Hatfield (drums). Their music spans genres such as metalcore, hardcore, and Christian rock, delivering intense yet melodic soundscapes that resonate with both secular and faith-based audiences.
