Cookin’ on 3 Burners is an Australian funk ensemble originating from Melbourne, recognized for their dynamic blend of funk, instrumental jazz, and street soul. The group was formed in 1997 by Jake Mason (Hammond organ), Lance Ferguson (guitar), and Ivan Khatchoyan (drums). Known as the "Hammond organ trio," they have built a reputation for their vintage-inspired sound, rooted in the traditional jazz and soul of the '50s and '60s. While Ferguson later departed, replaced by Dan West, the group's commitment to their funky, groove-laden style remains unwavering, earning them acclaim and collaborations with prominent artists across the globe.
