About

Crossfaith is a dynamic Japanese band that seamlessly merges metalcore, electronic, and industrial metal into a high-energy sonic experience. Hailing from Osaka, the group was formed in 2006 and consists of Kenta Koie (vocals), Kazuki Takemura (guitar), Terufumi Tamano (keyboards, programming), Hiroki Ikegawa (bass), and Tatsuya Amano (drums). Known for their explosive live performances and genre-blending approach, Crossfaith has carved out a unique niche in the heavy music scene, infusing J-rock elements with aggressive metal riffs and pulsating electronic beats.

How to Sound Like Crossfaith

Crossfaith's sound is characterized by its aggressive yet polished blend of electronic and metalcore elements, creating a futuristic and intense atmosphere. Guitarist Kazuki Takemura crafts riffs that are both crushing and melodic, often using extended range guitars like the Zemaitis A24MF EXL Black to deliver powerful, low-end chugs. The electronic layers, driven by Terufumi Tamano's synths and programming, bring an industrial edge that complements the band's frenetic energy. Drummer Tatsuya Amano’s intricate rhythms, enhanced by tools like the Pearl Eliminator Redline Double Bass Drum Pedal, add a relentless drive to their sound. To emulate Crossfaith's style, musicians should focus on achieving a balance between heavy, distorted guitar tones and vibrant electronic textures, while maintaining a tight, rhythmic intensity.
