Crystal Stilts is a New York-based band known for its eclectic blend of space rock, indie, shoegaze, and neo-psychedelic influences. Formed in 2003 by Brad Hargett (vocals) and JB Townsend (guitar), the group initially recorded as a duo before expanding for live performances. The live lineup included Kyle Forester (keyboards), Andy Adler (bass), and Frankie Rose (drums), who was later replaced by Keegan Cooke. Crystal Stilts garnered attention with their debut album Alight of Night and continued to evolve their sound with subsequent releases like In Love with Oblivion and Nature Noir.

Crystal Stilts’ music is characterized by its dreamy, atmospheric textures and melancholic undertones, which often evoke a sense of both nostalgia and exploration. Their sound balances reverb-drenched guitars and ethereal vocals, creating a lush, immersive experience.
