Dark the Suns is a Finnish metal band blending elements of doom, death, melodic death, and gothic metal to create a rich, melancholic soundscape. Initially formed in 2005 by Mikko Ojala, the band expanded in 2006 with the addition of Inka on bass, Juha on keyboards, and Markus on drums. Despite various lineup changes, Mikko and Inka have remained the core creators, especially after reforming as a duo in 2020. Known for their evocative compositions, Dark the Suns has released multiple albums through Firebox and Inverse Records, with their music characterized by "beautiful piano melodies and dark vocals."
