Downchild Blues Band is a pioneering Canadian blues ensemble renowned for their energetic blend of blues, boogie-woogie, and blues rock. Originating in 1969, the band was founded by brothers Donnie "Mr. Downchild" Walsh (guitarist/vocalist/songwriter) and Richard "Hock" Walsh. Known for their influential role in the blues scene, they inspired acts such as the Blues Brothers.
