The group was formed in Sacramento in 1976 by Little Charlie Baty (guitar) and Rick Estrin (harmonica, lead vocals). Baty's sharp guitar licks complement Estrin's charismatic vocals and harmonica prowess. The band has seen various lineup changes but originally included Jay Peterson (bass) and Dobie Strange (drums).
