GoodBooks is a British indie rock band that emerged from the early 2000s music scene with a sound that blends elements of Brit-pop and electronic influences. The group consists of Max Cooke (vocals), Christopher Porter (bass), JP Duncan (keyboards), and Leo von Bulow-Quirk (drums). The band developed from a previous incarnation known as the Fingerprints, eventually evolving into GoodBooks after a lineup change. Known for their catchy melodies and dynamic arrangements, GoodBooks gained attention after supporting The Magic Numbers and signing with Transgressive Records before releasing their debut album, Control, under Columbia Records.
