About

I Am Ghost is an American post-hardcore band that emerged from Long Beach, California, in 2004. Known for their theatrical blend of emo, screamo, and post-hardcore, the band was originally formed by vocalist Steven Juliano and violinist/singer Kerith Marcantonio. The lineup expanded to include guitarists Gabriel Iraheta and Timoteo Rosales, bassist/keyboardist Brian Telestai, and drummer Ryan Seaman. With a distinctive sound that marries punk aggression with ethereal elements, I Am Ghost quickly made a name for themselves in the alternative music scene.

How to Sound Like I am ghost

I Am Ghost's sound is a juxtaposition of intense, driving rhythms and haunting melodies. Their music often features aggressive guitar riffs paired with soaring violin lines, crafting a sound that's both heavy and atmospheric. The use of a LTD ESP Viper-400 Baritone guitar contributes to the band's deep, resonant tone, while the emotive violin work adds a layer of dramatic flair. The pulsing bass lines, often delivered through a Fender Blacktop Precision Bass, provide a solid yet dynamic foundation, driving the band's powerful live performances. Drummer Ryan Seaman's craft, exemplified by his Signature Series Truth Drumset, ties the sound together with precision and energy, bringing a controlled chaos to their intense soundscapes.
