Krisiun is a Brazilian death metal band renowned for their relentless speed and crushing brutality. Emerging from Porto Alegre in 1990, the group was founded by three brothers: Alex Camargo (bass, vocals), Moyses Kolesne (guitars), and Max Kolesne (drums). Krisiun's music is deeply rooted in death metal, grindcore, and technical death metal, drawing inspiration from iconic bands like Slayer, Sodom, and Morbid Angel. Over the years, they have developed a reputation for delivering punishing riffs, savage lyrics, and a sheer velocity that has set them apart in the extreme metal scene.

Krisiun's sound is defined by its aggressive and unyielding nature, characterized by fierce, rapid-fire guitar riffs and thunderous drumming. The sonic landscape they create is dense and relentless, often leaning towards a raw and abrasive tonality. Moyses Kolesne's guitar work frequently utilizes high-gain amps like the EVH 5150 III 100-Watt Tube Head to achieve a thick, saturated distortion. His use of the Ibanez TS9 Tube Screamer adds a crisp edge to the mix, enhancing the attack of his powerful riffs. The combination of Alex Camargo's growling bass lines, often played on a B.C. Rich Beast Bass, and Max Kolesne's rapid, precise drumming completes the band's formidable and brutal sound.
