Vader is a pioneering Polish metal band, known for their aggressive and relentless sound that has continuously evolved over the decades. Formed in Olsztyn in 1983, the group was initially rooted in heavy/speed metal but quickly embraced the more brutal and fast-paced styles of death metal, thrash metal, and black metal. The band's lineup has seen numerous changes, but the driving force remains founding vocalist and guitarist Piotr "Peter" Wiwczarek. Vader has built a formidable reputation on both the strength of their studio albums and their intense live performances, sharing stages with giants such as Slayer and Metallica.
