Press Club is an energetic punk rock band hailing from Melbourne, Australia. Formed in the vibrant suburb of Brunswick in 2017, the group consists of Natalie Foster (vocals), Greg Rietwyk (guitar), Frank Lees (drums), and Iain MacRae (bass). Press Club is known for their raw, unfiltered sound and high-octane performances, drawing inspiration from the punk ethos and DIY culture. Their music is a blend of punk rock, indie rock, and alternative influences, characterized by Natalie’s powerful vocal delivery and the band’s tight-knit instrumentation.

Press Club's sonic character is undeniably raw and aggressive, with an emphasis on powerful guitar riffs and driving rhythms. The guitar work by Greg Rietwyk often utilizes a combination of fuzz and overdrive pedals, such as the Mojo Hand FX Colossus and the Paul Cochrane Tim Overdrive, to achieve a gritty and saturated tone. The use of a Rickenbacker 330 Electric Guitar through a Fender Princeton Reverb amplifier adds a classic, jangly edge to their sound, while the Strymon BigSky reverb pedal provides ambient depth without losing intensity. Drums and bass lock in with urgency and precision, creating a relentless backdrop that complements Natalie’s dynamic vocals.
