Probot is a metal supergroup project masterminded by Dave Grohl, exploring the raw and heavy sounds of stoner rock and metal. Grohl, known for his roles in Nirvana and Foo Fighters, brought together a diverse array of metal vocalists from bands like Motörhead, Celtic Frost, and Venom to collaborate on this project. While Grohl played most of the instrumental parts, including drums and guitar, each track featured a different guest vocalist, making Probot a unique celebration of metal's underground legends. The project was a passion-driven homage to the aggressive and unrelenting energy of early metal that influenced Grohl's musical journey.

Probot's sound is characterized by its heavy, driving riffs and thunderous rhythm section, blending the unpolished intensity of stoner rock with the precision of classic metal.
