Radio 4 is an American band that emerged from the vibrant music scene of New York City in 1999. Known for their energetic blend of indie rock, garage rock, dance-punk, and new rave, the group channels the spirit of late-'70s and early-'80s post-punk bands. The lineup features Anthony Roman (bass), Tommy Williams (guitar), Greg Collins (drums), P.J. O'Connor (percussion), and Gerard Garone (keyboards). They quickly made an impact with their gritty, guitar-driven sound, drawing inspiration from bands like Gang of Four and P.I.L., while infusing danceable grooves and funky riffs into their music. Radio 4 rose to prominence with their debut album The New Song and Dance and further refined their genre-defying style with the DFA-produced album Gotham!.
