Ram Jam was an American rock band known for their energetic blend of rock, southern rock, and boogie rock. Formed in the mid-1970s, the group was composed of Bill Bartlett (guitar), Myke Scavone (lead vocals), Howie Arthur Blauvett (bass), and Peter Charles (drums). The band gained fame with their hit single "Black Betty," which became a staple of classic rock radio. Despite a brief career with only two studio albums, their music remains influential, characterized by powerful riffs and spirited performances.
