Runner Runner is a band from Huntington Beach, California, known for their blend of neon pop punk and alternative pop rock. The group evolved as an emo-pop side project for members of the skatepunk band Over It, allowing them to explore a more pop and electro-driven sound. The lineup features Ryan Ogren (vocals, guitar), Peter Munters (vocals, guitar), Jon Berry (vocals, bass), Nick Bailey (vocals, guitar), and James Ulrich (drums). With influences ranging from punk rock to dancefloor-friendly pop, Runner Runner carved a niche with their catchy hooks and energetic performances, culminating in their self-titled debut album under Capitol Records.

Runner Runner's sound is characterized by bright, melodic guitar riffs and energetic rhythms, creating an infectious blend of pop and punk elements. Their music often features shimmering guitar tones achieved through clean amp settings and a touch of modulation, echoing the vibrancy of their genre. Bassist Jon Berry contributes to the foundation with the rich, resonant tones of his Fender Precision Bass and Music Man Stingray, played through the powerful Ampeg SVT 810AV cabinet.
