SiM is a dynamic Japanese band that seamlessly blends genres like metalcore, J-rock, and screamo with reggae influences, creating a sound that's both aggressive and eclectic. Formed in 2004, the lineup consists of MAH (vocals), SHOW-HATE (guitar), SiN (bass), and GODRi (drums). Known for their high-energy performances and genre-defying music, SiM has gained international recognition, particularly with tracks like "The Rumbling," which became a massive hit as part of the anime Attack on Titan soundtrack.

SiM's sonic palette is intensely energetic and rhythmically complex, often characterized by crunchy guitar riffs and thundering drum patterns that create a visceral listening experience. Their music combines the raw aggression of metalcore with the syncopated rhythms of reggae, resulting in a distinctive sound that is both melodic and powerful. Guitarist SHOW-HATE contributes to this aggressive yet melodic style using Schecter PA-SM and Schecter C-7 SHOW-HATE Custom guitars, which provide the heavy, commanding tones essential for their music.
