Slik Toxik was a Canadian glam metal band that emerged in the late 1980s, bringing a vibrant and edgy sound to the rock scene. Formed in October 1988, the group consisted of Nick Walsh (vocals), Rob Bruce (guitar), Kevin Gale (guitar), Pat Howarth (bass), and Neal Busby (drums). Known for their energetic performances and gritty yet melodic compositions, Slik Toxik carved their niche within the realms of glam metal and glam rock. Their lineup solidified with the release of the EP Smooth & Deadly and the Juno Award-winning album Doin' the Nasty, which showcased their ability to blend catchy hooks with the hard-hitting style typical of the late '80s rock era.
