Sol Invicto is a dynamic musical collective that merges the worlds of cinematic industrial sounds with electronic metal, crafting a unique genre often referred to as deathstep. Founded by the visionary Richie Londres alongside Eric Bobo of Cypress Hill and Stephen Carpenter of Deftones, the group later welcomed the innovative UK drum and bass producer Technical Itch. Primarily instrumental, Sol Invicto's music is a powerful exploration of heavy, atmospheric soundscapes that defy conventional genre boundaries.

Sol Invicto's sonic character is aggressive yet meticulously crafted, balancing the raw intensity of metal with the textured layers of electronic music. Their sound is characterized by heavy, distorted guitar riffs and complex rhythmic patterns, often enhanced by the precision of electronic sampling. Stephen Carpenter’s use of guitars like the ESP STEF B-7 and effects processors such as the Fractal Axe-Fx II contributes to the band’s dense, crushing tones.
