SPK was an influential industrial and experimental music group originating from Sydney, Australia, and active primarily in the late 1970s and 1980s. Known for their avant-garde approach, the group was initially formed by Graeme Revell (also known as Operator, percussion, electronics) and Neil Hill (also known as Ne/H/il, vocals, bass guitar). Over time, SPK saw several lineup changes, with notable contributions from members like Sinan Leong (vocals). They explored a diverse array of genres, including industrial, synthpop, noise, and ambient, pushing the boundaries of electronic and experimental music. Their provocative performances and multimedia projects cemented their status as pioneers in the industrial music scene.

SPK's sonic character is often described as dark, immersive, and abrasive, with a mix of mechanical rhythms and atmospheric textures.
