How to Sound Like Stetsasonic
Stetsasonic's sound is an eclectic blend of dynamic live instrumentation and electronic sampling, creating a unique fusion that is both rhythmic and melodic. Their music features robust drum patterns and soulful melodies, often achieved through the use of classic gear like the Roland TR-808 Rhythm Composer and the E-mu SP-1200. This combination of live and electronic elements results in a sound that is both textured and groove-laden, allowing each track to feel both organic and meticulously crafted. To emulate Stetsasonic’s style, focus on blending live percussion elements with vintage sampling techniques, ensuring a rich, layered sonic palette.
