Stories is an American pop rock band renowned for their catchy melodies and blend of power pop, art rock, and pop soul influences. Formed in the early 1970s, the band was originally led by keyboardist and composer Michael Brown, who co-founded the group with vocalist Ian Lloyd, guitarist Steve Love, and drummer Bryan Madey. After the release of their self-titled debut album, Brown departed, and the band continued with the addition of bassist Kenny Aaronson and pianist Ken Bichel. Stories achieved mainstream success with their 1973 hit "Brother Louie," which topped the charts and remains a hallmark of their sound.
