Toxik is a pioneering thrash and speed metal band originating from Peekskill, New York. Formed in 1985, the group quickly became known for their technical prowess and intricate compositions. The band's lineup has seen several changes over the years, but the core currently consists of Josh Christian (lead guitar), James Demaria (drums), Shane Boulos (bass), and Ron Iglesias (vocals). Toxik initially gained attention with their influential albums World Circus (1987) and Think This (1989), both of which showcased their distinctive blend of aggressive speed and complex harmonies. After a hiatus, the band returned to the stage in 2013, continuing to captivate audiences with their intense energy and precision.
