Forbidden is a pioneering thrash metal band hailing from the vibrant Bay Area thrash scene of the mid-1980s. Originally formed as Forbidden Evil in 1985, the group was founded by guitarists Craig Locicero and Robb Flynn, along with vocalist Russ Anderson. The band underwent several lineup changes, eventually solidifying with members Glen Alvelais (guitar), Matt Camacho (bass), and Paul Bostaph (drums). Over the years, they have seamlessly integrated elements of speed metal, groove metal, and technical thrash, earning them a revered status among thrash metal enthusiasts.
