X-Cops is a satirical metal band formed as a side project by members of the theatrical thrash metal group GWAR. Emerging from Richmond, Virginia, the ensemble is known for its comedic take on hardcore and speed metal, parodying the more controversial aspects of law enforcement. Key figures in the band include Sheriff "Tubb" Tucker (vocals), Sgt. AlDepantsia (guitar), Lt. Louis Scrapinetti (guitar), and Patrolman Cobb Knobbler (bass), among others. Their music combines the raw intensity of thrash metal with tongue-in-cheek lyrics and stage antics, making them a unique fixture in the metal scene.
