About
Zero 7 is an acclaimed British musical duo known for their lush, atmospheric soundscapes and soothing melodies, rooted in electronica, downtempo, and trip hop. Formed by Sam Hardaker and Henry Binns, who first connected as teenagers in North West London, the pair honed their skills at the legendary RAK Studios. Zero 7 gained recognition with their remix of Radiohead’s "Climbing Up The Walls" and went on to release their debut album, Simple Things, which was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize. Their work often features collaborations with vocalists such as Sia, José González, and Sophie Barker, enriching their sound with elements of acid jazz, nu jazz, and soul.
