"Telecaster into Vox Wah into Maestro Fuzz into Vox Wah into MXR Phaser into Eventide TimeFactor delay into Boss tuner into splitter box then off to the amps" - Paul Godfrey, member of Morcheeba, talks about their recordings -
Paul Godfrey tells about Izotope products in this interview:
Do you use any other iZotope instruments and/or effects plugins? If so, which ones?
I also use Stutter Edit which I love and RX which is very useful. I´m also just getting into BreakTweaker which is a lot of fun and fast. Speed is key, if I have to spend too long looking at a tiny plug-in window I just lose interest and do something else like surf the net.
Paul Godfrey tells about his favourite software instruments.
“This, for me, is for the glitchy, twitchy, unintentional touches. I’m happy to work on a grid, chopping grooves for hours, but it’s wonderful when you can just throw loops into this thing and it’ll spit them out like you’ve spent a week re-programming them. Sometimes the grooves Transfuser creates form the basis of our songs.”
"The rotary speaker is an old Mesa Boogie revolver that Ross has had for about 10 years"
Keyboards and synthesizers feature in Morcheeba's studio, and the collection includes a Roland Super Jupiter MKS80, a Novation BassStation, a Hammond organ and a Wurlitzer electric piano. But first prize for pure weirdness goes to the EMS Synthi A -- a 1970s beast in a box that was originally designed as a teaching tool and a portable version of the desktop VCS3 which features so heavily on Dark Side Of The Moon.

Respected UK trip-hop band whose last two albums have been recorded on the VTC at their London studio. For submixing beats and samplers into Pro Tools it can't be beaten.
Band co-producer Pete Norris commented on the decision to upgrade their previous 8 buss console to the VTC: "We’ve been using TL Audio compressors and voice processors for quite some time, and really like the way the valves overdrive in these products. The VTC is an extension of this philosophy, and has really transformed the sound here: for submixing beats and samplers into Pro Tools it just can’t be beaten. The EQ on the console has an almost ‘old fashioned?quality to it, particularly the high and low shelving - which I really like."Since we mix entirely within the Pro Tools environment, we really treat the console like a rack of outboard on its side!"

Paul said in interview that he liked Iris
In a recent interview with Computer Music magazine you rated iZotope´s Iris as one of your favourite music software tools, what is it about the ´visual instrument´ that you like so much?
I like it because it´s fun to use and yields unique results pretty quickly. I also love the fact that all this modern software can detect pitch pretty accurately which helps a DJ with limited skills like myself.
"Ideally I use a Vox AC30 and a 50 watt Marshall head powering a Mesa Boogie 10 inch speaker rotary if we carry our own gear."
"At the moment I have got a small mesa boogie transatlantic 25 watt head powering what ever hired amps we get. I just use the speakers. It keeps it consistent." 25th March 2011

"I am loving this machine so much. It is really all my dreams come true. I have many ideas but I need more beaters to make the rhythms in my head...”
