The dirty channel is superb, the clean channel is limited

Mesa Boogie is famous for their overdrive tone stacks and this preamp is no exception. What I don't like about it is the clean channel as it does not chime the same way a Fender amp does, so in that sense it is more British than American.

Classic Power and Versatility

I have been an LP Custom guy since the beginning. Growing up in the 70's I used to salivate staring at the shots of Ace Frehley and Peter Frampton's three-pickup beasts. The '57 reissue is an exceptional guitar because it has the spec's of the 50's guitar, including the fat neck, great pickups and I was lucky enough to find it in this unique color not often seen, I think they called it just Mahogany. Just a great guitar that is worth the price and actually appreciates over time.

My #1 Acoustic

This guitar just feels right and sounds spectacular. Although it is a small body acoustic, the sound is full and deep. It is great for finger picking thanks to its 1.75" nut width, and it has the perfect blend of vintage mojo (see the tuning pegs ) and modern amenities (see the Expression 2 pickup system). It is truly a work of art and it is also a workhorse.
