Top of the line
Nothing better than this. FL has some nice in-the-box plugins but you can always get the same thing in here. Really intuitive and smooth workflow. The engine can get laggy when the cpu gets pushed too hard but it wont stop like logic does. And constantly save. It does have issues occasionally where Live will crash but it's a workhorse.

Good for reference
These are good. But the low end lacks nearly entirely. I don't mean this as a preferential thing. There is audibly too little low end to get a good mix from them in your lows. Its fine if working in conjunction with a sub or head/earphones. But much more worth it to buy a pair of Yamaha HS8's if they are in your budget or just shoot for rokit 8's. But if your saving for good monitors don't lose it on 5 inch cones unless you know you'll never need low end or if you're planning on buying a sub or something else to reference the low end. But it's gonna be a nicer reference on 8 inches for a little more. Sidenote: if you really got cash and it seems ridiculous to even consider these. Look at some dynaudios or even genelecs. The genelec m0 line is good but the 80 line is top notch. Watch the cash though.

really quality
It has an awesome flat signal response but it can be kinda screwy to move to them after working with a sub cause they lack a little in the low end. I'd say save the cash and get a pair of Beat pro's.
