A&F Drum Co. is a boutique drum manufacturer based in Austin, Texas. The shop hand-builds shells, hoops, lugs, and badges in-house, blending old-world craftsmanship with contemporary drum design. The catalog covers snare drums in raw brass, copper, raw steel, nickel over brass, aluminum, and wood; full kits including the Club Kit, Single Tension, Field, and Aviators series; and percussion like timbales, brass bongos, and the PanKick. Distinctive touches include Italian leather washers, hand-stamped serial-numbered badges, and optional hand engraving by John Aldridge.
Beyond drums, A&F collaborates on cymbal lines — the ANKH Series with Sabian and Oddity Cymbals with smith Ray Byrne — and produces hardware such as the Jonesy drum throne and the Big Bertha II bass drum.
A&F has 3 products cataloged on Equipboard, including Snare Drums and Drum Sets. Their gear is featured by 2 artists, with the strongest followings in Rock and Pop. Notable users include Ryan Petersen and Jamie Wollam.
