The concept grew out of Alstad's master's thesis at NTNU and was developed with funding from Innovation Norway and a successful Indiegogo campaign, with the goal of bringing wireless control to the guitarist's signal chain.
The brand is best known for a line of Bluetooth-enabled stompboxes housed in custom aluminum enclosures, designed to be paired with the AERO AE-1, a small wireless controller that mounts to the guitar, strap, or belt and adjusts pedal parameters on the fly. The core lineup includes the ROM RO-1 digital reverb, the EKKO EK-1 stereo delay, the TRYM TR-1 tremolo, and the KOR KO-1 chorus/flanger. Each pedal features true bypass, stereo I/O, and LED indicators that visualize parameter levels.
Aalberg Audio has 4 products cataloged on Equipboard, including Delay Effects Pedals, Reverb Effects Pedals, and Tremolo Effects Pedals.
