Alamo is a vintage American musical instrument and amplifier brand founded in 1947 by Charles Eilenberg in San Antonio, Texas, originally as Alamo Electronics in partnership with Southern Music. The company began with radios, record players, and instrument cases before expanding into guitar amplifiers and lap steel guitars around 1949. In 1960 Alamo entered the solidbody electric guitar market with the Texan, and by the mid-1960s its catalog was divided into the Professional, Artist, and Fiesta lines, which included models like the Titan, Eldorado, Embassy, Challenger, and Capri.

Alamo amplifiers were all-tube designs into the early 1960s, and the company was one of the earlier American makers to adopt black vinyl tolex covering. Its product distribution was concentrated in the American southwest, where Alamo offered a lower-cost alternative to larger brands like Fender and Gibson. Guitar production wound down around 1970, while amplifier manufacturing in San Antonio continued into the late 1970s and early 1980s before the operation was absorbed by Southwest Technical Products.

Original Alamo instruments and amps have since become collectible in the vintage market, valued more for their regional Texas heritage and period character than for high-end appointments. A separate, unrelated Alamo Guitars brand was produced under the Robin Guitars umbrella from 1999 to around 2010.

Alamo has 4 products cataloged on Equipboard, including Combo Guitar Amplifiers.
