Avon was a budget-tier guitar brand used by UK musical instrument distributor Rose Morris during the 1960s and 1970s. The Avon line was introduced in the summer of 1973 and sat beneath Rose Morris's mid-range Shaftesbury line, typically selling for about half the price. Instruments were manufactured in Japan and imported for the UK market, alongside other brands Rose Morris distributed at the time such as Rickenbacker, Marshall, Eko, and Aria.

The catalog consisted largely of Japanese-built copies of American classics, including Les Paul and SG-style electric guitars and Gibson EB-0-style basses. Models such as the Avon Les Paul 3403 were common entry-level options for beginning players during the era. Production ran roughly from the early 1970s into the mid-1980s.

Though positioned as affordable starter instruments, Avon guitars shared the characteristics of many 1970s Japanese-built copies — solid construction, low frets, and hot pickups — and have since developed a following among collectors of vintage MIJ "lawsuit-era" copies.

Avon has 2 products cataloged on Equipboard, including Electric Basses and Solid Body Electric Guitars.
