Birchlabs is the hobby project umbrella of UK-based developers Alex and Jamie Birch, under which Alex Birch releases free, open-source music software. Its best-known release is Juicy SF (juicysfplugin), a cross-platform SoundFont player distributed as a VST, VST3, AU, AUv3, and standalone app for macOS, Windows, and Linux, licensed under GPLv3.

Juicy SF is built around the FluidSynth engine and is often used by producers who want to play SF2 soundfonts — including classic video game instrument banks — inside a modern DAW.
