Black Snake is a small-batch Brazilian effects pedal brand handcrafted in São Paulo by builder Edson Mereti. The brand has a cult following in Brazilian guitar and bass circles, where its pedals are traded through local forums and marketplaces and valued for their utilitarian, true-bypass designs housed in heavy metal enclosures — some reportedly fashioned from repurposed transformer casings.
