Bo-El is a Dutch luthier brand founded in 1991 by Huub Boel, who began building custom guitars in a small workshop in The Hague before relocating the operation to the eastern Netherlands. The company specializes in hand-built electric guitars and basses with an emphasis on ergonomic construction — thin necks with no heel thickening for unobstructed upper-fret access, strap button placement aimed at improved balance, and proprietary pickups designed in-house for each model.

The lineup includes the S03 series, the GG series, the SIN model, and the MC-6 and MC-7, the latter a seven-string developed in collaboration with Dutch shred guitarist Marcel Coenen.
