Body Synths is an electronic instrument company based in Berlin, Germany, founded by Xavi Badosa in 2023. The company debuted with the Metal Fetishist, a desktop percussion synthesizer geared toward rhythm discovery and percussive sound design, characterized by looped random sequencing and heavy digital distortion.

The Metal Fetishist pairs a digital sound engine — a single oscillator, white noise source, and resonant multi-mode filter — with an effects section that includes downsampling, overdrive, phaser, flanger, and chorus. Two randomness generators handle trigger probability and step-modulation, and an audio input lets external sources be processed through the filter, distortion, and sequencer. The instrument is patchable and supports MIDI, and has been expanded through firmware updates including a 2.0 release that added features and flexibility.

Assembly of the instruments is handled in Berlin by cinema.av, with UX design by Alba Gonzalez Caballer and visual design and front-panel graphics by Jonathan Sirit. The company has exhibited at Superbooth Berlin and distributes internationally through specialty synth retailers such as Perfect Circuit, SchneidersLaden, and Postmodular.
