Bohemian Guitars is an Atlanta, Georgia-based instrument maker founded in 2012 by brothers Adam and Shaun Lee, along with Mark Friedman. The Lee brothers grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa, where they were inspired by township street musicians who built playable guitars from discarded oil cans and other recycled materials. After moving to the United States, Shaun began crafting his own oil can guitars in his parents' basement in Marietta, Georgia, eventually turning the concept into a full-fledged brand.

The company produces electric guitars, basses, and ukuleles built from unconventional body materials — primarily repurposed oil cans and tin lunchboxes.
