Burretone Guitars is a one-man custom guitar shop based in Karditsa, Greece, run by luthier Sokratis Valeras. The shop produces handcrafted electric guitars and basses inspired by vintage designs, with a focus on relic-finished instruments that evoke decades of use. Each instrument is built to order, making Burretone a true bespoke operation rather than a production-scale manufacturer.
The shop's lineup includes fully custom guitars and basses, the Castaxe series — a distinctive line of aluminum-core electric guitars featuring a single cast aluminum piece running from the bridge through the neck to the headstock, with a wooden fretboard and bolt-on wooden body — and the more affordable K.B. by Burretone line, which uses carefully selected spare parts assembled and set up to professional standards. Notable models include Precision Bass and Telecaster-style tributes, the RS Bass, and Stratocaster-inspired builds. The PS 51 Tribute, an all-maple homage to the 1951 Precision Bass with a Seymour Duncan SCPB-1 pickup, was featured as No Treble's Bass of the Week.
