The company develops digital audio effect plugins for music producers and guitarists, with a strong open-source ethos and a research-driven approach rooted in wave digital filter modeling and neural network inference techniques.

The brand is best known for the Chow Tape Model, an analog tape machine emulation originally based on the Sony TC-260 and developed during Chowdhury's coursework at Stanford, and Chow Centaur, a digital emulation of the Klon Centaur overdrive that includes both a traditional circuit-modeled mode and a recurrent neural network mode trained on the original gain stage.
