Clark Amplification is a boutique tube amplifier builder based in Mauldin, South Carolina, founded and operated by Michael Clark. The company specializes in hand-built vintage replicas of classic Fender and Marshall designs, with a particular focus on tweed-era Fender circuits from the 1950s and blackface-era designs from the 1960s. Each amp is built to order using period-correct construction: finger-jointed pine cabinets wrapped in aged lacquered tweed, chrome-plated steel chassis, paper bobbin transformers, and point-to-point wiring on eyelet boards with cloth-covered solid wire.
