Colby Amplifiers is a boutique tube-amp company based in the Bronx, New York, founded in 2010 by Mitch Colby. Before starting the brand, Colby spent decades in the amplifier industry, including a long tenure at Korg USA/Unicord where he oversaw U.S. distribution of Marshall and helped reestablish Vox. The company designs and hand-builds low-production guitar amplifiers drawing on classic British and American circuits.

The lineup includes the Lil' Darlin, a 5-watt 5E1-style cathode-biased 6V6 combo, the ELPICO (a revived vintage British name), the Sundragon — developed with Perry Margouleff and Jimmy Page as a recreation of the amp used on the first Led Zeppelin album — the DTB50, and the Mod Machine. Colby also produces the OG-1 overdrive pedal. For roughly a decade the company operated the reissued Park Amplifiers brand alongside its own models, building hand-wired versions of the classic Park designs before the Park name was transferred to Hiwatt.

Colby amps are sold in small numbers through a handful of boutique dealers and direct from the builder, and are generally associated with the point-to-point, hand-wired end of the tube-amp market.
