David Gage String Instruments is a New York City workshop and showroom founded in 1978 by bassist and luthier David Gage, specializing in the sale, restoration, and repair of upright basses, cellos, violas, and violins. Based in TriBeCa, the shop serves orchestral, jazz, rock, country, and world music performers, and has built a reputation as a hub for professional string players seeking high-end instruments and expert repair work.
