Digital Systemic Emulations is a French audio software developer founded by Valmont Naudin, a Paris-based engineer and musicologist who builds VST, VST3, and Audio Unit plugins using the SynthEdit environment. The project's focus is faithful, low-cost or freeware recreations of classic samplers, FM synths, and drum machines that are otherwise difficult to access — released for both Windows and macOS without advertising or commercial sponsorship.

The catalog includes the Emulator I (a recreation of the early E-mu sampler), K3-V Extended (Kawai K3 emulation), CX5M-V (Yamaha CX5M music computer FM synth), Syncla-X (Synclavier II FM unit), Synsonics-V (a model of the 1981 Synsonics analog drum machine), Elsita-V, Supermatic S-12, Awesome Piano, and the Giant Verb reverb plugin. Earlier work was distributed under the Mode Machines name through an arrangement with SynthEdit's developer.

The operation is essentially a one-person project run as an alternative to industrial-scale plugin companies, with a stated emphasis on making vintage emulations available to musicians at no cost.

Digital Systemic has 2 products cataloged on Equipboard, including Synth Plugins and Reverb Plugins.
