The company traces its origins to 2013, when musician Lucas Kierkegaard built his own pedalboard and began producing units for fellow players; by 2015 he had formally partnered with industrial engineer and bassist Ariel Albarenque, with Kierkegaard leading design and Albarenque overseeing production. Kierkegaard stepped away in 2017, leaving Albarenque as sole owner, and Gisele Abarca joined the operation in 2019.
