Drumatic is a drum synthesizer plugin developed by E-Phonic, a Dutch software company that builds virtual instruments and effects for music production. Rather than relying on samples, Drumatic generates its sounds entirely through synthesis, combining subtractive, FM, and wavetable techniques across ten channels — typically a kick, snare, handclap, two toms, hi-hats, a rim/bell voice, and additional percussive elements. Each voice offers graphical envelopes for pitch, filter, and volume, plus a per-channel effects section with distortion, bitcrusher, and filtering.

The plugin has gone through several iterations. Drumatic 3 was released as a free seven-voice drum synth and built a following in the freeware VST scene. Drumatic 4 is the paid 64-bit successor for Windows and Mac, expanding the architecture with one tone oscillator per channel plus two stereo noise oscillators drawn from a library of more than thirty noise types. A simplified spinoff, Drumatic VE, was also distributed as a free download.
