Elrick Bass Guitars is a boutique bass manufacturer founded by luthier Robert "Rob" Elrick, who built his first prototypes in 1992 and debuted Elrick Basses at Summer NAMM in Nashville in July 1993. The shop began in Chicago, Illinois, where Rob hand-carves the company's US-made instruments using few power tools and without CNC automation. The brand is known for high-end, through-neck and bolt-on basses available in 4, 5, and 6-string configurations, including fretless and headless variants.

The lineup spans several tiers, including the Standard Series, Gold Series, Platinum Series, Master Series, Anniversary Series, and Signature Series, along with the e-volution and New Jazz Standard (NJS) body shapes and a Modern Vintage line of vintage-inspired instruments. A partnership with Cort Guitars produces more accessible, import versions of Elrick designs such as the Cort Elrick NJS and e-volution models. Elrick also sells branded roundwound and flatwound bass strings and accessories.

Elrick instruments are played by a range of touring and session bassists. The company's roster has included Bakithi Kumalo (longtime bassist for Paul Simon), Tiffany Lloyd (Gladys Knight, Yolanda Adams), MJ Dandeneau (Violent Femmes, Xavier Rudd), Steve Lawson, Hagar Ben Ari, Matthew Lux, and Darryl Anders, among others. The Elrick Emerging Artist Program supports up-and-coming bass players in the United States.
