Esteve is a Spanish guitar workshop based in Alboraya, near Valencia, founded in 1957 by Francisco Esteve, Manuel Adalid Sr., and Antonio Monfort. The company is now run by Manuel Adalid Jr., son of one of the original partners, and employs a team of artisans who handcraft instruments in Spain using the traditional Spanish method, including integrated neck-body construction and fan bracing.
The workshop's catalog covers classical and flamenco guitars across student, professional, and concert tiers, alongside electro-acoustic and crossover/fusion models, requintos, baritone, bass, and octave guitars, plus children's sizes. They also build laudes, bandurrias, and mandolins. Soundboards are typically solid cedar or spruce, with rosewood, mahogany, and ziricote among the tonewoods used for backs and sides. The shop has produced notable special editions including a Gipsy Kings model and an anniversary commemorative guitar.
Esteve received the Premio a la Artesanía in Valencia in 1999 and partners with Knobloch Strings for stringing its instruments. The brand is distributed internationally through specialty classical guitar dealers and is recognized for offering hand-built Spanish-made instruments across a wide price range.
Esteve has 4 products cataloged on Equipboard, including Classical & Nylon-String Guitars.
