Based in Roseville, California, the brand launched in November 2019 with a direct-to-consumer model aimed at offering professional-quality instruments at accessible price points by cutting out traditional retail middlemen.

The company's debut model, the Tiger, is a South Korean-built double-cutaway featuring a mahogany body with a flame-maple veneer top, a set mahogany neck, 24-fret ebony fretboard, dual humbuckers, and a tune-o-matic bridge with stopbar tailpiece. The brand later expanded into USA-made instruments with the Percheron, a single-cutaway design sporting an alder body with maple cap, a bolt-on quarter-sawn maple neck, and Seymour Duncan Jazz and JB humbuckers with a push/push coil-split option. The Stallion is another USA-made offering in the lineup. Frank Stallone Guitars also partners with other builders, including Walla Walla Guitars (USA-built instruments from master builders Ken Melhus and Terry Martin), Bootlegger Guitar, and Delta Star Cigar Box Guitars, curating a broader catalog across multiple price tiers.
